From a young age, J.C. has been passionate about stories, devouring books across every genre – historical fiction, romance, fantasy, thrillers, and horror. Over time, her love of reading evolved into a passion for writing, where she discovered the therapeutic power of creating her own stories.
Living with Multiple Hereditary Exostoses, a chronic pain bone disorder, J.C. turned to writing as an outlet to cope with surgeries, pain, and isolation. She began blogging at 15, sharing her experiences with high school, dating, and her chronic condition. In 2014, she published her debut novel, Collide, and has since gone on to release 15 more novels, gaining a reputation for her edgy, bold, and raw storytelling. Through her work, J.C. raises awareness about mental health, rare diseases, and social issues.
In Riverside Reverie, J.C. introduces us to Lux, a young woman grappling with heartbreak and betrayal after discovering her long-time boyfriend’s infidelity. Seeking solace, she embarks on a camping trip where she meets Theo, a charismatic man who immediately feels the magnetic pull between them.
