Meet the mother-daughter duo, Erin and Anneka Hunter, as they lead a powerful discussion on food insecurity, focusing on its disproportionate impact on women. In this session, we’ll explore the challenges and actionable solutions to empower women and drive change.
Erin and Anneka have become deeply involved in Northumberland County since moving here two years ago. Erin is the Coordinator for Fare Share Food Bank, while Anneka, a grade 10 student at CCI, is a passionate writer, reader, and human rights advocate. Join them on the NEW main stage as they share their insights and commitment to making a difference.
